Overview
This policy explains how TesTracker ("we", "us") collects and uses information when you use our app and website.
Information we collect
- Account details such as your email address.
- With your permission through Tesla's official Fleet API: vehicle location, trip data and basic vehicle information such as model and charging state.
- Basic technical data needed to run the service, such as device type and error logs.
How we use it
We use your data only to provide TesTracker: drawing your trips, unlocking map areas, awarding badges and showing leaderboards you choose to join. We do not sell your data.
Read only access
TesTracker only reads data. It never sends commands to your vehicle and never controls the car. You can revoke access at any time in your Tesla account.
Private locations
Home and work locations you mark are kept private and are never shown to friends or on leaderboards.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run TesTracker (hosting, database and payments), under agreements that protect it, or when required by law.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@testracker.app. We will complete deletion within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
TesTracker is not intended for children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version here.
